Shipping address verification

It is your responsibility to ensure that you provide a correct shipping address for order delivery. An incomplete and/or invalid shipping address can result in the package being sent back to us or (in the case of international orders - the packages are destroyed by the shipping carrier and left as "unclaimed").  For North America, you will have to pay the return shipping fee; and, if the order has to be reshipped, you will also have to pay additional shipping fees. If you decide to cancel your order when the package has been returned to us, we will deduct the shipping charge(s) incurred from the refund amount.

Canada & UK Shipping

We know shipping costs can be a little crazy. That's why we offer flat rate shipping for only $10 across Canada and the United Kingdom, and free shipping if you order over $70.

United States of America Shipping

We offer a flat rate of $15 for USA orders, and free shipping if you order over $150. We are happy to announce (as of July 15, 2025) all of our USA shipments will be delivered to you, duty free! We will take care of the duties and fees for you, so there won't be any surprises at the door! 

Australia, Germany & France Shipping

We offer a flat rate of $15 for orders under $100, and free shipping if you order over $100! 

International Shipping

For the rest of the world, we have a flat shipping rate of $40. Some countries and exceptions apply.

Local - 1-2 Day Shipping in the Greater Toronto Area

We are proud to offer 1-2 Day Shipping for all of our local customers in the GTA, Ontario. You are able to select local delivery at check out, we now charge a flat rate of $8.00. This delivery can take up to 2 business days (at times), although we strive to deliver all local delivery orders within one day!

All local delivery orders will be processed during regular business hours, and the cut off time is 12 pm each day - Monday to Friday. Please note that insurance for these orders are only covered up to $100. Delivery drop off window is between 4:00pm to 10:30pm.

When will my order ship?

We try to be as speedy as possible when processing your orders! Your order should be processed and shipped within 5 business days. You will receive an email once a shipping label has been created and it is in que to be packed and shipped.

Will I have to pay duties and custom fees?

International orders, outside of Canada, may be subject to duties and customs fees. International orders may be subject to customs duties, taxes, or import fees as determined by your country’s regulations. These charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in the shipping cost.

The delivery agent may collect customs fees when your order is delivered. These fees are to be paid by you. For more information - contact your local customs office.

If you choose to refuse the customs fees upon delivery, please note that the shipping carrier will not return the package to us. Instead, the parcel is typically discarded or abandoned by the carrier, and unfortunately, we are unable to recover it or issue a refund. If the package is returned to us (by chance), your shipping fees will be deducted from your overall refund. 

We kindly advise checking with your local customs office prior to ordering to understand any applicable charges. Thank you for your understanding and support.

I want my items ASAP. How long will it take to get my order?

If you need your order delivered as soon as possible, you can opt to pay for express shipping. Email us at support@lalahijabs.com to upgrade to express shipping. We will ship your order via a courier service to deliver it to you faster (like Fedex or UPS). Otherwise, the estimated delivery dates provided are only an approximation, and actual delivery times can be longer due to factors outside of our control. We do not accept any responsibility resulting from any delays caused during transit.

What happens if my package was returned back to Lala Hijabs?

We are not responsible for return fees as well as re-shipping charges to have it shipped back to you again. Once the package arrives back at our facility, we will refund you the cost of the items purchased, minus the shipping fees and costs associated with the return label. Note: This does not apply to international orders - any orders that are shipped via standard international shipping and are "returned to sender" - are not physically returned to us in Canada. Instead, these packages are deemed as unclaimed and are destroyed by the shipping carrier. Therefore, we are not responsible for the cost of items purchased to replace the items. 

Note: We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages. If your package is delivered by the carrier with a delivery confirmation - and you did not receive your package, then you must file a complaint with your local carrier. We are unable to file claims for packages marked as delivered by the shipping carrier. NOTE: We offer Shipping Protection at check out - and for a minimal fee, you can insure your package which then covers lost, stolen, and damaged items. We highly encourage you to purchase this protection each time you place an order. This protection only applies to items in transit. 

How long will it take to receive my package? 

We take 5-10 business days to process all orders. Packages shipped within North America generally arrive within 1-2 weeks of shipping (sometimes less) - but keep in mind these are only estimates and can change according to the carrier. 

Please note, many standard international packages may take 4-8 weeks to arrive. *For reasons outside of our control, we are not responsible for slower transit times for all packages (express or standard)*

How do I file a claim for the Shipping Protection I purchased?
