Where do you ship my package from?

We ship all of your packages from The Greater Toronto Area in Ontario

Who dyes the hijabs?

We do! We hand-dye each tie dye hijab in our facility in Ontario, Canada. This means that you will receive a one of a kind, piece of art each time you order one of our tie dye hijabs!

How accurate are the colors displayed?

Our tie dye design hijabs are hand dyed, which means you will always receive a one of a kind original piece of art. While we do our best to keep all of the designs the same as the photos you see on our website, there might be some slight variations in the patterns. The colors in our photos are all edited to be as true to real life color as possible, but we cannot guarantee they will be the exact same color as what you are viewing the photos on as each device screen is different.

How are you eco-friendly?

We try to do everything we can to remain as eco-friendly as possible. Here are just some of the things we do to reduce our carbon footprint:

-We use non-toxic dyes

-We do not use plastic in our packaging

-All of our packaging and mailers are 100% compostable 

-We line dry our tie dye hijabs - instead of using electric dryers

-Our magnets come in a reusable cloth bag

-All of our hijabs are hand-packed in compostable tissue paper

How do I wash the hijabs?

Your tie dye hijab was pre-washed prior to packaging - just hand wash it in cold water with a gentle detergent. Do not soak! A quick wash is all it needs. Then hang it to dry! We recommend this washing method for ALL of our hijabs and materials. 

Shipping stuff

How much do I pay for shipping?


We know shipping costs are a little crazy.

That's why we offer a flat rate for shipping for only $10 in North America and $15 for the rest of the world.

But it gets better - we offer FREE shipping for orders over $70 for our North American customers and FREE shipping for orders over $100 for the rest of the world.

(Some countries and exceptions may apply as some areas are not currently accepting international orders due to the pandemic)

Some international standard packages do not come with tracking scans - although we try our best to make it happen! 

Standard packages for international orders can take up to 4-6 weeks to arrive (in some extreme cases, 8 weeks) - if you prefer to have your package sooner with tracking, you may opt for express shipping for $30 outside of North America at the time of check out.


Do you ship internationally?

Yes! We absolutely do - to nearly every country in the world. 

What are your processing times?

We try to be as speedy as possible when processing your orders! Usually all of our orders are fulfilled and shipped within 7 business days. You will receive an email from us as soon as your label is created and is in line to get packaged and shipped.

I need my order ASAP, can you speed it up?

If you have a special shipping request for your order, feel free to email us at info@lalahijabs.com. If you need your order as soon as possible, you may opt to pay for express shipping. We will then ship your order via overnight shipping via Fedex, UPS or DHL. Otherwise the estimated delivery dates are only an approximation and actual delivery times can be longer due to factors outside of our control. We do not accept any responsibility resulting from any delays caused during transit.

Will I have to pay customs or duty fees?

International orders (outside of Canada) may be subject to duties and customs fees. If fees do apply, the shipping carrier will collect these fees from you before your order is delivered. These fees will be covered by you as the customer. For more information about what your country charges for international packages, contact your local customs office.


How long will it take for my package to arrive?

We take up to 7 business days to process all orders. Packages shipped within North America generally arrive at your doorstep within 1-2 weeks of shipping (sometimes way less!) - Keep in mind these are only estimates and can change at anytime. 


International packages (outside of North America) can take 4-6 weeks (and in rare cases 8 weeks) to arrive at your doorstep due to the ongoing pandemic. For this reason, we highly encourage you to opt for express shipping at check out.

*For reasons outside of our control, we are not responsible for slower transit times for all packages (express or standard)


I entered my address incorrectly, what do I do?

It is your responsibility to ensure that you provide the correct shipping address for your order to be delivered. An incomplete and/or invalid shipping address can result in the package being sent back to us. In such a case - you will have to pay the return shipping fee (to our facility) and if the order needs to be reshipped, you will also have to pay the shipping fee again. If you decide to cancel your order when the package has been returned to us, we will deduct the shipping charge(s) incurred from the refund amount.

How do I track my order?

Most of our packages are shipped with tracking, and you will receive the tracking number via the email you used when you placed your order as soon as we create your label. Sometimes these emails get lost in your spam folder, so if you have not received it yet - check there! 

Refund policy

I need to return something, what do I do?

We want you to love your Lala Hijabs! Which is why we have a 100% satisfaction guarantee.Each piece is quality checked prior to packaging, but if in the rare event you receive a defective hijab - we will send you a new one (shipping on us)! If for any reason you need to make a return, you may do so within the first 14 days after receiving your items as long as they are unworn and in their original packaging. We do not accept worn items.We do not cover return shipping, so you will be responsible for shipping the item(s) back to us. Once it is returned, examined and processed - we will refund your order (less shipping fees).You can contact us with your return questions at anytime by emailing us at returns@lalahijabs.com with your order number and name.Please note: Lala Hijabs reserves the right to refuse a return or exchange.Original and return shipping fees are non-refundable.

Which items are non-returnable?

Any of the hijabs that are purchased under the "oops mystery hijabs" are final sale as they are heavily discounted and contain minor defects as mentioned in the product description.Our hijab friendly masks, scrunchies and underscarves are also final sale items, for hygiene reasons.Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.All of our "last chance" items are final sale.

Help! I need to cancel my order

We can only cancel orders within 24 hours (or before the shipping label has been created). We cannot cancel an order once it has been shipped. In that case, you may return the order in its original packing for a full refund (less the shipping fees). By clicking the PLACE ORDER button, you are agreeing to the terms of our return and cancellation policies.
