Burnt Maple began with a paintbrush and a room full of sisters.
During a community painting session with a group of Muslim sisters, our founder Sana found herself blending warm, earthy tones into an abstract piece, capturing the essence of fall in Canada. That unexpected moment of creativity became the design and color palette for this hijab: deep forest black washed with rust, burnt orange, and glowing copper, like maple leaves caught in the last light of autumn.
This is a print for the woman who feels most herself when the weather turns. The dark base grounds it, and the warm brushstrokes bring it to life, so it works effortlessly with cream, camel, chocolate, and black.
Our modal hijabs are the most perfect hijabs for everyday use - they are extremely breathable and versatile! The material is buttery soft - making them one of our favourites in our entire collection of hijabs! We only recommend using our magnets to secure these in place of pins - the material is soft and delicate!
